I found some wooden cobbler's shoe forms and made a lamp out of them. I mounted them together at various angles on a wooden base. I installed a standard light socket and then hid the pull chain(on/off switch) inside a man's neck tie. I added a man's fedora-hat as the shade. The base is stained in a red cherry and is 15" long x !0 1/2" wide. Total height with shade and finial is 26." When I got the wooden cobbler's shoe forms they were painted red and white so I left them like they were. Some of the paint has been rubbed off from wear and usage. The shoe forms themselves are various sizes. This would be a great conversation piece for any home or office.
